The noble lord, Sigurd, puts his life on the line as he begins to uncover a sinister plot that slowly unfolds across the continent. Unable to finish what he started, after a nearly two decade long gap his son, Celice, takes up the sword to continue the quest.

Genealogy of the Holy War remains a fan favorite to this day. Featuring a stirring story and, by far, the largest and longest chapters in any Fire Emblem game to date. One central mechanic to the game, however, is the love system. In order to strengthen the second generation of warriors, you must pair together your first generation characters so that their children will inherit their abilities.
